American Electric Motor Corporation takes every precaution in accuracy to our products listed prices, and availability. If you order a product and there is an error that we discover, we will notify you prior to proceeding with your order. Please note that prices are subject to change without notice.
1. GENERAL. All orders for products (and drawings furnished in connection therewith) to be repaired, manufactured, or supplied by American Electric Motor Corporation, shall be subject to these terms and conditions of sale. No modifications or additions hereto will be binding unless agreed to in writing by American Electric Motor Corporation
2. PAYMENT. Unless other terms are indicated by American Electric Motor Corporation terms of payment shall be Cash, Check, Charge, money order, and/or EFT (*electric funds transfer subject to $40.00 transaction fee)
NET 30 day terms available after the first paid transaction is completed, and the required four (4) credit references, and confirmed bank details have been reviewed and accepted.  All special order, custome design, and large US Dollar purchases are subject to a minimum 50% payment down.
3. FREIGHT CHARGES. Freight charges on all shipments are to be paid by Buyer.
4. CANCELLATION. After acceptance by American Electric Motor Corporation orders shall not be subject to cancellation by Buyer except with American Electric Motor Corporatiaon consent and upon terms that will indemnify American Electric Motor Corporation against loss.
5. GOVERNING LAW, JURISDICTION AND VENUE. All sales and agreements shall be governed by and construed for all purposes according to the laws of the State of Michigan. Buyer and American Electric Motor Corporation agree that any collections or disputes arising out of the Buyer's purchase of good or services will be resolved in a court of competent jurisdiction in Genesee County, Michigan.
6. SALES TAX. American Electric Motor Corporation is required to charge applicable state and local sales tax on every item for which sales tax exemption certification has not been provided.
7. RISK OF LOSS. Delivery of products to a common carrier or licensed trucker shall constitute delivery to Buyer, and all risk of loss in transit shall be borne by Buyer.
8. SECURITY INTEREST. Unless and until the products or services are fully paid for, American Electric Motor Corporation reserves a security interest in them to secure the unpaid balance of the price and all other obligations of the Buyer to American Electric Motor Corporation however arising. The Buyer hereby grants American Electric Motor Corporation a power of attorney to execute and file on behalf of Buyer all necessary financing statements and other similar documents required to protect the security interest granted herein.
9. WARRANTY. AMERICAN ELECTRIC MOTOR CORPORATION MAKES NO WARRANTY, EXCEPT THAT OF TITLE, OR REPRESENTATION OF ANY KIND WHATSOEVER, EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, EXCEPT AS CONTAINED HEREIN. ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING ANY WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ARE HEREBY DISCLAIMED. AMERICAN ELECTRIC MOTOR CORPORATION EXCLUDES ALL WARRANTIES FOR MERCHANTABILITY, AND BUYER AGREES TO TAKE GOODS ON AN "AS IS" BASIS. AMERICAN ELECTRIC MOTOR CORPORATION LIMITS BUYER'S REMEDIES TO THE REPLACEMENT OF NON-CONFORMING GOODS OR PARTS. AMERICAN ELECTRIC MOTOR CORPORATION warrants that parts supplied or distributed by it will be as specified and extends no warranty, whatsoever, beyond the warranties, if any, which may be extended by the original manufacturer of the parts, which warranties are the sole responsibility of the original manufacturer and not AMERICAN ELECTRIC MOTOR CORPORATION The total liability of AMERICAN ELECTRIC MOTOR CORPORATION with respect to this or any prior or subsequent order shall not exceed the purchase price of the part upon which liability is placed. AMERICAN ELECTRIC MOTOR CORPORATION or its supplier shall in no event be liable to the Buyer or any beneficiary of this order for any consequential, incidental, indirect, special or punitive damages. AMERICAN ELECTRIC MOTOR CORPORATION shall not be liable for any default or delay in performance caused, directly or indirectly, by any cause beyond AMERICAN ELECTRIC MOTOR CORPORATION reasonable control.

Privacy Notice

American Electric Motor Corporation does not disclose any credit card, phone number, fax number, or email address information with any other companies or person(s). We will not give nor sell your credit card information to any person or organization.  American Electric Motor Corporation believes in your personal privacy and will not share it with any organization or person(s). As we may have to "drop ship" items from the closest warehousing facility, it may be necessary to share your "ship to" address with the shipper. The shipper is the respected manufacturer or vendor of the product you order. We want you to know that you are purchasing quality products from a secure site.

Shipping & Returns

Shipping Policy: All products under 100 lbs. will be shipped via UPS. All products 101 lbs. or greater will be shipped via "Common Carrier". We will not ship to a P.O. Box. Our products may be shipped from the warehouse or vendor nearest your location in order to save shipping time. If special shipping arrangements are desired, you must contact us via email, phone, or fax and we will place your order via email, phone, or fax to make the necessary changes to the freight costs. Our online store is only set up to ship within the freight company's standard delivery terms. Most orders will ship within 24 hours upon receipt of payment as long as the product is in stock. If a product is not in stock you will be notified before your order is processed. All shipping weights stated in the online store are approximates. Damaged Freight Policy: It is the customer's responsibility to inspect all packages prior to signing the shipping receipt. Once you have signed the trucking companies bill of lading and you discover hidden damage, it will then be your responsibility to file the damage claim with the freight company. Pontiac Electric Motor Works, Inc. will not be responsible to file the claim. If you receive a damaged item you should refuse delivery. Returns: Any product you wish to return, must have a Return Material Authorization (RMA) and be in its original carton, crate, or box. Any item returned without a RMA or in an unapproved container will not be issued a credit. You must have your invoice. All returns must be returned within 30 days of the date of purchase and are subject to 25% restocking charge. American Electric Motor Corporation reserves the right to refuse any return. We strongly urge you to insure any returning package against damage as any returned item that is damaged will not be issued credit. No custom built products can be returned. All materials must be returned "prepaid". Electrical products being returned must be in "new" condition, and not used. Any electric motors being returned with set screw marks on the shaft will not be credited, as we can no longer sell them as new products. Any products that have been modified in anyway may not be returned. (Modified means, but not limited to, cutting the shaft, shortening or cutting the wires or plug, cutting thru bolts, etc.). American Electric Motor Corporation is not responsible for any loss or damages occurred during return shipment.  American Electric Motor Corporation reserves the right to refuse a return if the product is not in new, unused and resellable condition.
